Ahead of Schedule

The weather pattern for most of the year in the Middle to southern United States has been warm and wet.  The result appears that pest problems are about four weeks ahead of when we may expect them.  For example, in Kentucky the first case of gray leaf spot has been reported and further south fall armyworm is on the move.  In both cases this appears to be three to four weeks earlier than expected.  Given that, keep in mind grub damage and other pest problems could be occurring now.
