Pre-emergence control

Tenacity^® herbicide offers the ultimate flexibility to control weeds and grasses prior to emergence. In cases where extended control is desired, you can easily combine Tenacity with another pre-emergence herbicide, such as Barricade^® herbicide. In combination, you get control of key annual monocot weeds such as crabgrass and foxtail.

At-seeding control

Tenacity herbicide can be used prior to seeding to enhance establishment of tolerant turfgrass species (see label for species). Tenacity controls many monocot and dicot weeds that compete with or slow the establishment of turfgrass stands. Tenacity can also be used on grass-seed blends that have less than 20% of hard or fine fescue by weight. In the case of newly germinated turfgrass plants, you should avoid applying a repeat application of Tenacity until the turf has been mown twice or four weeks after emergence, whichever is longest.
