ABW activity in Virginia Sept. 8 Update

As of the first week of September comes to a close, we are still finding late larvae, pupae and adult annual bluegrass weevils on golf courses in southwest Virginia.

Will the 2019 Weevil Season Ever End?

As we return from Labor Day weekend, I am hearing about and seeing, every stage of annual bluegrass weevils, in isolated spots. 2019 has been a tough year for fine turfgrass on many fronts.
