With high school football playoffs coming to an end in the next week or two, attention turns to natural field renovation.  Assess the drainage and worn turf areas.  Frequently poorly drained areas are often associated with worn turf areas.  If possible this is a good time to install soil drainage.  There are various drainage systems available with varying cost.  To improve next year’s field conditions try to install an adequate soil drainage system into the athletic field.
