WeevilTrak update March 19, 2020

I have received several calls over the last week from superintendents asking if there is any control measure that can be put in place now that would control ABW adults for a couple of weeks should they be required to leave the golf course due to Coronavirus quarantining. It's important to stay safe and be smart about things. The global pandemic has put a strain on current operations, but I know that many want to ensure that ABW is controlled before having to evacuate should it be made mandatory or required by ownership.

Spring has certainly sprung in Virginia. In Blacksburg, Virginia, annual bluegrass weevil (ABW) adult numbers increased a little this past week averaging 4.3 adults per sq. ft. on March 10.
