In spite of the warm winter and early spring we have not seen ABW activity approach levels that might warrant adulticide applications.
What can we expect early in the season after not having had much of a winter? Not really sure: ABW is a very adaptable creature.
Forsythia is in full bloom along with daffodils and some saucer magnolias. All of this means it is time to start scouting for ABW again.
For now, my advice would be to hang tight, let the spring unfold and plan your scouting for the 2023 season.
